PE Coated Aluminum Foil combines a pure aluminum foil core with a polyethylene (PE) coating layer. The aluminum foil layer delivers the reflectivity and barrier performance that reflective insulation products depend on; the PE coating adds heat sealability, moisture protection and a smooth, handling-friendly surface that bonds cleanly during lamination.
Compared with bare aluminum foil, the PE-coated structure is easier to convert — it seals without separate adhesive, tolerates lamination tension better, and resists the edge tearing and surface scratching that foil alone is prone to. Compared with metallized film, it offers a heavier barrier and a true foil surface, which some building-insulation specifications call for explicitly.
Specify the foil gauge, PE coating weight and finished roll format around your lamination line and end product. Typical structures pair a 6.5–7 µm foil with a 10–20 µm PE layer, supplied in widths up to 1600 mm and roll lengths up to 12000 m.

Applications
Reflective Bubble Insulation
Used as the outer facing of reflective bubble insulation products. The foil face reflects radiant heat while the PE layer heat-seals to the bubble core, giving a clean, moisture-resistant surface.

Foam Insulation Lamination
Laminated to XPE, IXPE and EPE foams to produce lightweight reflective insulation boards and rolls for building and industrial applications.

Thermal Packaging & Liners
Combined with foam or bubble layers for insulated packaging products that need heat reflection plus moisture protection.
